Meet Pernickety, the newest member of our family, as he appeared on the local animal shelter's website in 2005 waiting patiently for us to come and rescue him. He has taken over the arduous and thankless job that Huckleberry passed on to him --training the human staff.
Kit and her much-missed friend, the late great Huckleberry Finn, whose body had to leave us in 2002, but whose spirit still comes to visit and watch over us.
